Yeah I agree, Anet should make sure that everyone in every corner of the world has an opportunity to get a mini pet. I live in Anartica and it would be extremely rude of them to not personally deliver my mag.

@ 1_up_and_2_down

Correction accepted, although I tend to ignore replies with such "tone" . First off you don't know me from anywhere so I really don't approve that kind of talk like you were my teacher, ok?
Second: pointing out your rants towards someone else like this is really annoying don't you think? I thought so too. So I'm gonna take it like it wasn't for me.

I'm not really here to flame anyone, and I haven't so far, why would I flame you? O_o I just expressed my point, since it's not the first time it happens. Now you're the one who came in here with the desire to flame on me, and not get an answer back. Lol. If you punch someone on the street, don't expect they will be quiet afterwards... See what I mean? Now for that I feel offended. Who are you to think you can flame me and then ask for me to be quiet?

But worry not... I'm not here to teach people how they should be, I believe we can all learn with each other.

PS: Oh and in that first sentence of yours the correct word is "spelt", as in "her name is spelt Gaile Gray". The conjugation of the verb "spell" is in the Past Participle.

Well if I read Europe I'm lead to expect I might possibly be included, right? Europe is not UK and France only, unless they changed it last minute. :]
And since you talk about remote places, how does South Africa sound ? They will have it published.

And thank you, Knightsaber Sith, for that piece of info.

He looks pretty cool, I'm a sucker for freaky looking characters after all. :P

I just hope most people keep in mind, its called a MINIATURE pet for a reason? Maybe its not the size it will be in reality? Probably the same height and proportions as a human with respect to his own stature. Although hes a big pet, its probably to see his details better or he is infact going to be huge.

Either way the axe falls, we won't know much for awhile.

(yes im going to get the pet, hahahah)

"Pick up your copy of selected magazines to get your exclusive miniature."

They should go ahead an update their policy on purchasing items and gold with money to

"You may not acquire items and or gold through real life monetary means UNLESS the money purchases a poorly edited and uninclusive magazine with which we are affiliated"

Let's face it Purchase Magazine for $17 >>>Get Minipet>>>Sell to one of those "Minipet Collectors" for 100k

If I wanted to fill my inventory up with useless crap I'd try farming UW after the patch.

One step toward Anime = one step back for me.

If Guild Wars graphics were to turn into one of those CARTOON MMOs by NCsoft, it would be awfully sad.

It distinctly reminds me of Shining Lore Online, a never released discontinued project by NCSoft.

Points to these:
Atrix : http://www.ncsoft.com/eng/ncgames/atrix_intro.asp
(Unreleased) Smash Star: http://www.ncsoft.com/eng/ncgames/ss_intro.asp
(discontinued progress) Shining Lore Online:http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/shini...om_clk=gsimage
(unannounced progress) Exarch: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/...rt&om_clk=tabs

To be honest with you, the Guild Wars franchise is the majority of their growth so far. If they haven't learned that companies that provide free content at the cost of ads and pay for extra features ("village" MMOs) are dominating the anime-cartoonish market they need to rethink it over.

It's not buying a minipet with real world money, it is effectively buying a serial key for a minipet. There's no rule against selling unused keys for real world money. And I don't know what PC Gamer ever did to you to call it "poorly edited", but stop whining for the sake of whining.

And even if you were to buy the magazine just for the pet, it's only $5 not $17.

This thing is pretty ugly, anime-ish, and pretty much out of character with the GW art/themes from all three games. Here's really, really hoping it's not a preview of things to come.

One reason (of many) that I love GW so much is because it doesn't have playable elves, dwarves, orcs, cats, hamsters, etc. As some have speculated, I really hope I don't find myself grouping with people dressed up as this ugly thing in the future.
